PARENT ADVISORY BOARD 2015-2016
We believe that parents, as real experts of their own children, are a critical part of the El Nuevo Mundo team. As members of our life-long learning community, parents join with staff to create a sense of shared purposes, mutual respect, and wonder of the joys of childhood. We strongly encourage parental participation in our community and ask that parents give 10 hours of their time, each school year, to help with school projects.
Parents, grandparents, older siblings, and other family members are regularly seen in the classrooms at El Nuevo Mundo. They can be found reading to a group of children in a quiet corner, leading a cooking activity at a table, or sharing a special family tradition with the class.
